Moose (cow) Plop

All squares are $10, you can either call Moose River Campground at (802) 748-4334 or e-mail us at info@mooserivercampground.com with the number square you would like.  This will be held on August 9, 2008 from noon till 3:00 or when the moose plops, along with our Moose Derby!

There are 200 squares for sale to benefit the St. Johnsbury Area Lions Club with a potential of winning $1,000! The moose (cow) will roam a square of 20' x 40', with 200 2' squares marked in it. If the moose (cow) plops on your square, you win half (½) the pot! If the moose (cow) plops on 2 squares, the winnings will be divided in half (½), 3 squares, divided by thirds (1/3), if 4 squares, divided by fourths (1/4). Even if the moose (cow) plops only one portion in a square, that square is also a winner! Doesn’t matter how much is in the square, from a drop to a huge splop, winnings are divided equally! If the moose (cow) does not plop on any squares, or if the square is not sold, all the proceeds to go the St. Johnsbury Lions Club! We cannot make the moose plop if she doesn’t want to!

Also, judges rules are final, no plopping on the judges. They are only moose (cow) watchers, but they are the rulers!

Last year, we hired Marty the Moose, from the office, to be our official Moose Plop spokesperson, but he did not want to come out on that day, so we hired Circles the cow who was very accommodating!  Below are pictures of our event.
