2008 Calendar of Events

Apr 25 - Oct 19 DEPOSIT/CANCELLATION REQUIREMENT

DEPOSIT - ALL WEEKENDS ARE A 2 NIGHT MINIMUM! When making a reservation, either day, week or month long, 50% of the total amount is due when making the reservation. Weekend and holiday reservations must be paid in full when making your reservation. CANCELLATION: For week day stays, you have 21 days prior to cancel at no charge.  If you cancel for a week day stay, within the 21 days of your stay, it is a $15 charge.  If you cancel or do not show up on the week day of your stay, one night charge.  For all weekend and holiday weekends, no matter when you cancel, there is a whole weekend charge.  NO REFUNDS.  No cancellations or refunds from September till closing.

Apr 25 - Apr 27 CLEAN-UP WEEKEND - FREE SITE

Were not sure if we were going to be able to open! One month prior to opening day.	Two weeks prior to opening....	The flowers kept coming.....	Guess we can open on time!

Free site fee with a "help clean commitment" for a few hours of work to set things up! POT LUCK SUPPER. Alternate date May 3rd.  Only 6 campers allowed, so please reserve early!

May 16 - May 18 "ARMED FORCES WEEKEND"

If you are/were in the armed forces, come and stay with us FREE based on a 2-night minimum/maximum. By reservation only! Must show proof! NO GROUPS PLEASE.

May 23 - May 26 "MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND"

Jun 06 - Jun 08 "BRING A FRIEND"

This year, we celebrate everyone's birthday.  If you make a reservation and also reserve for a friend, you only pay for one!  That night, birthday cake and night entertainment.  Both reservations must be made at the same time.  NO DISCOUNTS

Jun 13 - Jun 15 "POT LUCK WEEKEND"

This weekend, we will just sit back, everyone bring a pot luck to dinner and afterwards, some night entertainment by the bon fire later on.  Just a relaxing weekend, no rushing, no hurrying to get to any event..... just relax! 

Jun 20 - Jun 21 "ANNUAL CHICKEN BBQ!"

FREE!  Come and bet on the moose races, win tickets for the evening auction for prizes!  That night bring a wrapped or unwrapped item and we will auction them off!  All proceeds to to the St. Johnsbury Area Lion's Club. Come for some great fun, sure to be interesting! We had a GREAT time last year!

Aug 08 - Aug 10 "MOOSE PLOP DERBY"

Morty the moose could not show up, so we hired Circles the Cow	Everyone waited 2 1/2 hours for Circles to name the winners!	The winners!	Gary picking up after the derby.... ha ha

This year, we will have a "DRESS UP YOUR SHADE TENT", you know, the ones you use in your back yard to keep the sun off you while you have a little picnic!  Dress up your tent and yourself, just like the Kentucky Derby, but here we honor the Moose, and win a Vermont Gift Basket with Vermont Products for the most unique, and best dressed!  Since this is to benefit the St. Johnsbury Area Lions Club, they will also be selling hotdogs, soda, etc.  Come and enjoy a great weekend!   Pick your number by the link above!  Only $10 a box.

Aug 29 - Sep 01 "LABOR DAY WEEKEND"
